The Visiting Nurse Association of Florida (VNA) is seeking an experienced and dedicated Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to lead and coordinate our mobile medical clinic program. This unique role blends clinical expertise with program coordination, offering essential healthcare services to underserved populations throughout the community. The ARNP will serve as both the primary clinician and program coordinator, ensuring smooth daily operations while delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities :

Clinical Duties :

  • Provide comprehensive healthcare services, including chronic illness assessment, acute care, memory screenings, and health risk assessments.
  • Conduct back-to-school and sports physicals for children.
  • Offer first aid station support at community events.
  • Deliver community health education, patient education, and preventative care services.
  • Refer patients to appropriate specialized medical care and community resources.

Program Coordination & Operations :

  • Oversee the daily operations of the mobile clinic, ensuring timely arrival and efficient patient flow.
  • Drive the mobile clinic to designated community locations.
  • Manage scheduling of clinic visits, community outreach events, and patient appointments.
  • Maintain inventory of medical supplies, ensuring the clinic is fully stocked.
  • Collaborate with community partners, healthcare providers, and VNA leadership to expand clinic services and reach.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety protocols, and organizational standards.

    • Qualifications & Requirements :

  • Licensed ARNP in the state of Florida.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in primary care, community health, or mobile healthcare services.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage clinic logistics and coordinate services.
  • Ability to drive and operate a mobile medical clinic (Valid Florida driver's license required).
  • Experience in patient education, chronic disease management, and community outreach preferred.
  • Must be comfortable working in a flexible schedule, with hours varying based on clinic locations and community needs.
