About the Role
The Physical Therapist (PT) will assess and evaluate patient care needs related to functional status/mobility, endurance/stamina, pain, and other medical conditions.
Based on this assessment, the Physical Therapist will develop a treatment plan, perform interventions to improve patient well-being, and evaluate progress.
- Evaluate patient's functional status and physical therapy needs
- Assist physician in developing therapy plan of care
- Report patient's response to treatment and changes in condition to supervising nurse and/or physician
- Treat patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, and maintain maximum functioning
- Instruct healthcare team, patient, and family/caregivers about plan of care, functional limitations, and progress toward goals
Licensure Requirements
To be eligible, you must have:
- Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, with access to a dependable vehicle
