Vns Caregivers Inc in Woodbridge, CT is looking for one PCA to join our strong team. We are located on 30 Hazel Ter, Suite 8. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable.
Employment : Per Diem
Responsibilities
- Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Communicating with Healthcare Providers
- Assisting with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs): This may include helping clients with tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, and running errands,medication cueing.
- Monitoring Vital Signs: PCAs may be responsible for monitoring and recording clients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Documenting Care
- Provide assistance for clients with personal care activities including bathing, mouth care, denture care, skin care, grooming, bathroom care.
- Assist clients with housekeeping tasks, including planning and preparing meals, feeding, light housekeeping, changing linens, making beds, and laundering clothes and bedding.
- Assist client in safety needs with use of equipment (side rails, foot stools, wheelchairs, etc.).
- Follow the Plan of Care and observe the client and report any changes or questions regarding the client’s condition to the appropriate supervisor.
Qualifications
- Experienced and Certified PCA.
