Your Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy services to patients in their homes, adapting to varying environments and physical conditions.
- Assist patients with therapeutic interventions, positioning, moving, transferring, and lifting, as needed.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records, adhering to VNS Health policies and standards.
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field required.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in New York State (NY)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely, using proper body mechanics and equipment.
