Nurse Residency Program
The VNS Health Nurse Residency Program is a comprehensive training program designed to empower recent RN graduates with hands-on clinical experience and training to develop the next generation of expert home care clinicians.
Program Objectives
This two-year, full-time hybrid training program aims to provide participants with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in home care. Participants will engage in classroom learning activities, shadow experienced RNs, and practice in the community with a preceptor.

Responsibilities
Participants will participate in classroom learning activities, shadow RNs, reviews experiences in group debriefs, practice in the community with a preceptor, deliver personalized nursing and care management to patients, and achieve continued professional growth through attendance at in-services and training.
Qualifications
Recently received RN license, valid driver's license or NYS Non-Driver photo ID card, degree in Nursing from an approved program, and no prior work experience in nursing required.
