We are currently seeking a Prevention and Training Coordinator to join our team in Lawton, Oklahoma! What You Will Do to Change Lives
As the Prevention and Training Coordinator, you will manage, design, develop, coordinate and/or conduct training and prevention programs in Behavioral Health and Recovery Services, which provides services to women and families dealing with the effects of opioid and other substance use disorders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and conduct needs assessments that determine what types of training should be provided for target groups.
- Coordinate with trainers, facilitators, trainings’ partners and training beneficiaries.
- Support trainers and facilitators in designing and developing training agendas and materials and ensure consistency of the training sessions with organizational objectives.
- Manage all logistics for the training sessions and support trainers in the delivery of training sessions including materials, facilities, equipment and refreshments.
- Perform other, job-related, duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What You Will Bring:
- Knowledge of how to conduct an assessment of educational needs & proficient at designing effective instructional solutions, media, aids, and plans.
- Knowledge of communication principles, media, and marketing techniques.
- Knowledge of database construction, management, and retrieval methods.
- Effective time management, project coordination, and organizational skills.
- Excellent presentation skills, including written and oral communication skills.
- Able to prepare training budget and manage expenses.
- Ability to travel approximately 60% of work hours. Have reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License, current liability automobile insurance (your name must be on the policy) & maintain an acceptable driving record, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation criminal history checks, and Community Service Registry Record checks.
Education/Licensing & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a behavioral science or related field of study.
- Must be state certified as a Behavioral Health Case Manager (CBHCM) or be able to obtain certification within 90 days and maintain it.
- Three (3) years of related experience.
- Experience creating original graphic designs and comprehensive layout concepts.
