What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Picker/Packer position at VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION SPEC?
Job Overview:
VRSI is in partnership with QualityStaff, LLC. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pulling merchandise, stack and arrange products, and pack items into containers, crates, boxes and carton for shipping or storage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting and receiving orders for outgoing shipments; using computer inventory and shipping programs as required
- Picking out ordered items from storage shelves or rooms using barcodes, serial numbers, etc.
- Inspecting items for damage according to company standards; informing supervisor of damaged items
- Packing the products and applying labels
- Scanning the label and putting the package on outgoing trucks
- Log orders to keep the inventory up to date for replenishment and storage
- Performing general warehouse duties as necessary
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Warehouse or assembly line experience
- Skills:

- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift items for long periods.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm with one-hour break for lunch
