Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and personalized virtual instruction to students with special needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educational professionals to support student growth and success.
- Utilize digital tools and resources to enhance learning experiences and track student progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
- Participate in virtual team meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Masters degree in special education or a related field
- ValidSpecial Education teaching certification in Maine.
- Proven experience in special education, preferably in a virtual or online setting.
- Strong proficiency with virtual teaching platforms and educational technology.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
