Speech Language Pathologist - Delaware Schools (Remote)
VocoVision is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join a school district in Delaware for the upcoming academic year. This remote position allows you to provide therapy, assessments, and support to students using VocoVision's HIPAA/FERPA compliant platform. Here are the details:
Platform and Tools:
- Platform: VocoVision (HIPAA/FERPA compliant)
- Communication: Zoom interface for sessions
- Tools: Scheduling tools, Continuing Education resources, Assessment and Therapy tools (interactive assignments, games, digitized assessment tools)
- Data Handling: No storage of student data on VocoVision's platform
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Minimum 2 years of experience in school-based settings
- Active licensure in Delaware
- Ability to lead IEPs and conduct evaluations virtually
- Strong tech skills and interpersonal communication abilities
Job Details:
- Duration: 24/25 school year
- Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Student Levels: K-12
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy focusing on receptive, expressive, and articulation skills
- Collaborate remotely with team members and parents
- Utilize district email and IEP systems effectively
- Conduct multi-factored evaluations and provide virtual support for IEPs
- Deliver remote speech and language services individually or in small groups
- Assist in curriculum development and policy creation
- Plan and execute tailored educational programs
- Create inclusive learning environments and communicate progress to stakeholders
- Attend parent conferences as needed and adhere to professional conduct standards
