Job Description:
As a Teletherapy Speech-Language Pathologist at VocoVision, you will deliver high-quality virtual speech therapy services to K-12 students. Youll collaborate with school teams and families to support students with a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students based on their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, interpret results, and write detailed reports on speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills.
- Develop strength-based, student-centered treatment plans (IEPs) to improve educational outcomes.
- Ensure all evaluations, treatment plans, and services adhere to school, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with teachers and other related service providers to promote skill generalization across various settings.
- Participate in IEP meetings and regularly communicate with parents, teachers, and school staff.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Active license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Idaho.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Minimum of two years of experience working in school-based or educational settings (clinical experience may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis).
- Familiarity with virtual therapy tools and technology for remote service delivery is preferred.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a personal computer with updated software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Tech Screening Requirements: Candidates must pass a tech screening to ensure they meet the technical requirements for remote service delivery. This will include:
- Two screenshots showing internet speed and computer speed.
- A screen recording (less than 5 minutes) of a Zoom mockup session to demonstrate basic tech proficiency.
