Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Delaware (Remote)
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
Pay: $45/Hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate clients' speech, language, voice, and fluency skills. Develop individualized therapy plans based on assessment results.
- Therapeutic Intervention: Implement evidence-based therapy techniques tailored to the needs of each client. Utilize teletherapy platforms and digital tools to facilitate therapy sessions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clients' families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
- Education and Training: Provide guidance and education to clients and their families about communication disorders and strategies to support progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Professional Development: Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology and telehealth practices. Participate in continuing education and training opportunities as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Delaware. Additional telehealth certification preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience as an SLP, with a strong background in virtual therapy settings preferred. Experience with a wide range of speech and language disorders is a plus.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate clients in a virtual environment. Proficiency with telehealth technology and digital therapeutic tools.
- Technical Requirements: Reliable high-speed internet connection and a private, quiet workspace for conducting virtual therapy sessions. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
