Location : New York (Remote)

Description :

We are seeking an experienced Virtual Special Education Consultant to assist schools in New York with their special education programs. In this role, you will assess current programs, provide training, and offer strategic guidance to improve special education services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a broad impact on the educational experiences of students with disabilities.

Responsibilities include evaluating programs, providing professional development, and offering expert recommendations

Responsibilities :

Evaluate special education programs in schools across New York

Provide consultation on best practices for curriculum, accommodations, and student support

Develop and conduct professional development sessions for teachers and school staff

Ensure compliance with New York state special education regulations and laws

Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure effective implementation of recommendations

Qualifications :

Masters degree in Special Education or a related field

Extensive experience working in special education, including leadership or program management

Deep knowledge of IDEA and New York State special education laws

Strong communication, organizational, and consulting skills

Ability to work independently and remotely
