This role involves consistent outreach, networking, and relationship-building to expand our customer base and strengthen partnerships with existing clients throughout Ann Arbor and Southeast Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new referral sources and potential clients
- Maintain and manage a structured sales route
- Conduct sales calls and schedule meetings with target prospects
- Secure commitments from referral partners leading to new business opportunities
- Track sales activities and provide timely reports on progress
- Attend weekly sales meetings
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers and referral partners through calls and in-person visits
- Manage customer relationship data and records
- Present to groups and organizations to drive awareness and business growth
- Actively participate in trade associations, community organizations, and networking events
- Associate degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred; bachelor’s degree a plus
- 4-6 years of experience in relationship-based sales, preferably with high-level executives
- Strong understanding of value-based selling and market differentiation
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships that drive revenue growth
- Comfortable interpreting financial reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow
- Strong math skills for estimating revenue potential and sales performance tracking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and CRM tools
