Salary Range: USD $61,000 – $130,000 / year
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced B-Shift General Production Manager to oversee and lead production operations within a meat processing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring production quality, maintaining safety standards, and improving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and develop supervisors and production team members across various functions.
- Manage key production metrics including documentation, yield management, attendance, and time tracking.
- Address and resolve disciplinary issues, motivate team members, and work on minimizing turnover and absenteeism.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and team morale.
- Oversee production floor operations, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, particularly in HACCP compliance.
- Monitor and verify CCPs, supporting food safety and quality assurance.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a meat processing plant, preferably in pork processing.
- Familiarity with processing floor operations.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and CCP monitoring verification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of fresh meats processing.

- This is a backfill position with direct reports.
- Compensation includes additional variable incentives (ASR and AIP) and equity options.
