Job Overview
The Senior Manager, Reporting and Analytics is a vital part of the Data and Analytics team, supporting a fast-growing product suite in lending and deposits. This role collaborates with the Product Team, focusing on detailed reporting, forecasting, and analytics to drive insights on deposit units, transactions, balance growth, and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Insights: Analyze product performance using both quantitative and qualitative methods to provide insights on industry trends and macroeconomic factors.
- Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Develop and maintain analytics frameworks and KPIs to support growth and profitability objectives.
- Strategic Planning: Oversee deposit forecasting and monitor performance against established benchmarks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to align on strategic initiatives.
- Leadership: Serve as an emerging leader, coaching junior analysts and contributing to a matrixed organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline (e.g., MIS, Computer Science, Data Analytics) preferred.
- Experience: 8 years in product, marketing, finance, or analytics within Financial Services. Specific expertise in Banking and deposit products is highly valued.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SAS, SQL, R, or Python. Expertise in data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, Excel) and experience in advanced modeling.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and cross-team leadership skills, with demonstrated success in stakeholder communication and relationship building.
