We are currently looking for a Trackwork Technician to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee.
PURPOSE OF POSITION
A shop employee that performs all duties and tasks associated with the assembly of frogs and crossings.
Tasks and Responsibilities :
- Finish grind, weld, fit and assemble all steel, iron and manganese track work related products to the specifications provided by engineering.
- Profile grind filler blocks, fit standard and mag tip switch points and other miscellaneous track work related products such as switch clip assemblies.
- Using work orders, ITP’s and blue prints.
- Assemble RMB, SGM, MPF, spring frogs and diamond crossings.
- Routine clean-up of work area.
- Adhere to Nortrak’s Environmental, Safety and Quality Procedures, Practices and Policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
