Seeking a leader for our Indiana maintenance team that has experience in preserving assets, optimizing equipment utilization and provides technical support.
What You’ll Be Doing :
Manage multiple facilities (same campus) and coordinates the activities of skilled craft employees maintaining the facilities, preserving assets, optimizing equipment utilization and providing technical support of equipment and assets. This includes problem solving and providing troubleshooting resources to employees as well as training, communication and coordination of projects with plant management, and the continuous improvement of mechanical / electrical / electronic processes. This will include direct supervision of mechanical / electrical maintenance personnel and Mechanical Systems Specialist.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following : Others as assigned.
- Provides strategic direction for Maintenance department.
- Manages multiple facilities through cooperation and collaboration with Plant Management, Maintenance Manager, and other key corporate personnel.
- Responsible for meeting financial goals that include efficient use of labor, overtime control, managing departmental budget and supplies management.
Serve as the central requisitioning agent to set inventory and stock supplies
Ensures department maintains adequate knowledge of processes and skill sets to effectively troubleshoot and make repairs.
Supervisory Responsibilities : Directly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; coaching; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Must be willing to work any shift, weekends and overtime as needed. This position will also require an on-call schedule as well.
Schedule : This supervisory level position is overtime-exempt and will primarily work 8 or more hours per day, five days per week based on business needs. Primary schedule will be supporting 7AM– 4 : 00PM Monday through Friday or similar. May support operations as needed on weekends.
