voestalpine Signaling USA is seeking a Electronics Technician to work at its Loveland, Colorado location.
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail oriented, energetic, self-motivated individual to join our ever-growing team. Candidate must be able to work effectively in an electronics focused production and team-oriented environment. Duties will include building and maintaining electro-mechanical systems, assisting engineers with design updates, and obtaining a detailed set of assembly documentation. The position may also include the construction of prototype systems. Some component research and specification may also be necessarily.
The successful candidate must have a background in both mechanical and electrical systems. Electronics experience is a plus, as well as networking programming and troubleshooting.
This is a hands-on position with the potential for travel to assist the Field Services department with system installation and testing. Possibly to consist of some domestic and international travel.
Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions
- Build and assemble electro-mechanical components Assemblies and Sub-assemblies for voestalpine SIGNALING’s product line
- Complete tasks within allotted timeframe
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow standard processes to meet quality standards
- Follow standard processes for shipping and receiving
- Assist with inventory maintenance and required inventory accountability
- Aid Engineers in lab development/research activities
- Infrequent domestic and international travel possible (e.g., USA, CAN, MEX)
- Technician will work with high and low voltage electricity and electrical wiring components
- Other duties as assigned.
