We are seeking a dynamic and driven Industrial Sales Representative to join our team. This individual will be responsible for driving sales and business development efforts across various industrial sectors, with a strong focus on biogas, waste management, and liquid processing systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial processes, process equipment, and instrumentation, as well as a proven track record in sales and relationship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with customers, channel partners, and key industry players in biogas, industrial waste management, animal processing, chemical production, petroleum industry, energy production, mining and other industrial sectors.
- Understand liquid processes and process equipment, including pumps, grinders, mixers, conveyors, instrumentation, controls, and VFDs.
- Organize and maintain a sales calendar, setting up weekly customer and partner meetings, engineering presentations, and lunch and learn meetings to maximize sales opportunities.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM to track leads, manage opportunities, and predict impending orders through close communication with customers and partners.
- Develop sales strategies, identify new business opportunities in existing and emerging industries, and close deals efficiently.
- Manage channel partners by setting sales goals, directing them towards strategic customers, providing training and being a technical advisor.
- Ability to sell direct to customers and OEM accounts as necessary.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
- Provide basic technical guidance on equipment functions and process interactions, engaging internal technical experts when needed.
Qualifications:
- 10 Years Minimum Experience in industrial sales, preferably in biogas, waste management, or liquid processing industries.
- Solid understanding of process equipment and how components interact in a system.
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage a busy sales schedule and track opportunities effectively.
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM or similar platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Willingness to travel as needed for on-site customer visits and industry events.
