Exciting Territory Sales Manager opportunity to join a leading manufacturer of life-saving rescue equipment. We are seeking a driven and strategic Territory Sales Manager to support and develop our relationships with top distributors in the Northeastern United States.
Position Overview: As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales through our 2-3 largest distributors in the Northeastern U.S. Your role will focus on building strong partnerships with dealers and distributors, providing in-depth product knowledge, offering strategic guidance, and ensuring the successful execution of product demonstrations. You will play a pivotal role in fostering long-term relationships and achieving revenue goals within your territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth & Relationship Management: Cultivate and expand relationships with key distributors and dealers in the Northeastern U.S., driving sales growth and market penetration.
- Municipal Sales: Work closely with municipal customers and public sector entities to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that align with their objectives.
- Coaching & Training: Support and coach dealers to ensure they are fully equipped to sell and promote our products effectively.
- Product Demonstrations: Lead product demonstrations for distributors, dealers, end users, and their teams, highlighting product features and benefits to drive interest and sales.
- Territory Management: Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets, maintain high customer satisfaction, and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a distributor-driven environment (B2B sales experience is a plus).
- Strong understanding of territory management and the ability to build and maintain relationships with large distributors and dealers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to lead product demonstrations and training sessions effectively.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven with a strong sense of accountability.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the Northeastern U.S.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $82,225.00 - $95,000.00 per year
