About your role:

• You’ll be responsible for safely sorting soiled linens and uniforms coming in from restaurants, hotels, hospitals and mines for preparations to be washed

• You’ll be responsible for ensuring that all linens are sorted with accuracy and placed in the correct cart

• You'll be interacting with our team leads, and managers daily
• You’ll be responsible for wearing the proper PPE for the task, following safety rules, and procedures

• You’ll be responsible for keeping a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job on a daily regular basis.

Ability to safely:

• Operate hand controls. Controls include, but are not limited to, buttons
• Climb ramps, stairs, & ladders
• Reach overhead, extending arms with the hands higher than the head, bending of elbows and reaching at or below shoulder level, bending of elbows
• Reach overhead to assist in directing laundry bags weighting 300 lbs and more
• Standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Bend, stoop, twist, reach, push and pull, carry, lift in combination with twisting, lift up to 50 lbs and more
• Walk up and down flights of stairs
• Push carts weighing 200-400 lbs
• Tilt neck backward and look upward
• Adjust to changing environments, conditions, factors and must be flexible
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Must wear proper PPE for the task, follow safety rules, procedures and follow safe driving practices
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Compensation:

• $15.00 per hour with room to grow

Schedule:

• Full Time
• Monday to Friday
• Working approximately 30 hours per week
• Shift, 3:00PM to finish, between 8pm-midnight
