American Repertory Theater is seeking an enthusiastic junior designer who loves theater to join the organization as the Graphic Design Assistant. This is a part-time (14 hours / week) position. Reporting to the Associate Director of Creative Services, the Graphic Design Assistant supports the graphic and digital communications needs of the A.R.T., executing web- and print-based initiatives for artistic, community, development, and engagement programs. This role is an active contributor on the marketing team for creative needs for social media, website, email, and other promotional content.
Responsibilities :
- Using an asset template, design and resize email, social media, advertising, and digital assets at the start of a project or production; create new graphics for ongoing and new projects.
- Create tailored content for social media, including motion graphics and videos for stories and reels.
- Design post-show marketing reports, board reports, and other executive presentation materials.
