What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Operations position at Voices Together?
The Director of Operations is an executive professional who handles the planning, promotion, implementation, and evaluation of all programming to support Voices Together.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop strategic goals and initiatives for the program team
- Manage all contracts with vendor partners, clients, and funding sources
- Manages relationship with Employment and Independence for People with Disabilities (EIPD); ensures contract compliance
- Manages all Medicaid processes and relationships; ensures compliance
- Submits all Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs)
- Establishes metrics, guidelines, and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness of programming team
- Implements policies and procedures that improve day-to-day operations; works closely with Human Resources
- Communicates and explains directives, policies, and procedures to managers
- Leads coordination between Programming and Clinical teams to produce smoother workflows and more cost-effective processes
- Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, clients, and the community
- Oversee the overall operation of the organization’s programming
- Create and manage program budgets; meet regularly with leadership team to report out
- Develop and implement programmatic and administrative policies and procedures to attain program goals and objectives
- Meet regularly with leadership team to identify needs to support growth of programming
- Ensure project operations are consistent with regulatory guidelines and internal processes
- Develop, process, and monitor evaluation toolkits and indicators to manage program performance
- Design, direct, implement, and disseminate objectives and operational strategies
- Provide direct oversight to the Program Manager
- Provide ad-hoc business and analytical support
- Performs other related duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Seven plus (10 ) years of related work experience
- Previous experience in a supervisory role
- Knowledge and experience providing Medicaid support
- Excellent written, oral, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office Suite
- Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Experience working in a social service environment and familiarity with not-for-profit best practices
- Experience in a fast-paced, growing company and/or demonstrated effectiveness in a small organization where the role includes both strategic and hands-on responsibilities
- Ability to lead, work independently, and work in a team environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to fifteen (15) pounds at times

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
