Driving Options:
1. AM and/or PM Routes
- Service the Sauk Rapids-Rice & ROCORI School Districts.
- Ensure the safe transportation of students.
- Engage positively with students and the community.
- Flexible commitment: work year-round or take summers off.
2. School Bus Charters/Activities
- Potential for charter work 3-5 days a week.
- Transport students on pre planned outings or to athletic events.
- Drive groups for various events like company shuttles, concerts or special events.
- Flexible commitment: work year-round or take summers off.
State and Federal Requirements for Operating a School Bus in Minnesota:
Upon Hire:
- A valid CDL Class B with Passenger and School Bus endorsements, and no Airbrake restrictions, is required.
- Successful completion of a Pre-Employment Drug Test, along with Federal Random Drug Testing, is mandatory.
- A passable Pre-Employment Physical Assessment must be completed.
- A passable Medical Examination for the DOT Health Card must be completed.
- Paid behind-the-wheel training will be provided.
- A Road Test will be completed and administered by a State Certified Examiner.
Please note that both state and federal regulations may disqualify individuals based on specific criteria, including criminal offenses, driving violations, or failure to meet health standards.
Our Commitment to Safety
- “Zero Tolerance Company”: All positions are required to complete a pre-employment drug test and random tests throughout employment. We choose to take an overly cautious approach due to the clientele we service and the large equipment we operate.
