Customer Service Professional for a growing Interior Design Center. Specializing in custom window treatments (Blinds, Shades, Drapes, Shutters, & Upholstery)
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is done in a climate-controlled, retail work setting.
Work Schedule;
Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
PURPOSE:
The purpose of this position is to ensure that all customers feel welcomed and comfortable when they visit or call Voila Interior & Design, by acting as store host or hostess.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quality;
Answering a multi-line phone system and take messages in a professional and timely manner.
Greet, screen, direct all customers as they enter the store and help to meet their needs.
Listen attentively to customer concerns and refer customer to the appropriate staff member.
Service;
Capture customer contact information and entering it into the database for new customer calling or visiting the store.
Provide product and service information and serve as a liaison to staff.
Schedule installers and coordinate product installation.
Maintain a schedule for each salesperson and provide logistics support for staff.
Write "Follow-Up Notes" to customers visiting the store and assist in writing "Thank You" notes to purchasing customers.
Productivity
Accept, log, sort and distribute all mail and packages.
Provide secretarial support. Handling filing, scanning, faxing and general correspondence.
Update sample books and other marketing and sales materials.

Education
Qualified Applicants must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in a retail-type environment preferred. Qualified Applicants with a minimum of two years of college or equivalent experience, currently working towards a college degree, or a college degree preferred.
Knowledge
Knowledge of a customer service or retail work environment preferred. computer knowledge, intermediate marketing knowledge, and a broad knowledge of the work flow within retail work environment.
