Customer Service Professional for a growing Interior Design Center. Specializing in custom window treatments (Blinds, Shades, Drapes, Shutters, & Upholstery)

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is done in a climate-controlled, retail work setting.

Work Schedule;

Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

PURPOSE:
The purpose of this position is to ensure that all customers feel welcomed and comfortable when they visit or call Voila Interior & Design, by acting as store host or hostess.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Quality;
 Answering a multi-line phone system and take messages in a professional and timely manner.
 Greet, screen, direct all customers as they enter the store and help to meet their needs.
 Listen attentively to customer concerns and refer customer to the appropriate staff member.

Service;
 Capture customer contact information and entering it into the database for new customer calling or visiting the store.
 Provide product and service information and serve as a liaison to staff.
 Schedule installers and coordinate product installation.
 Maintain a schedule for each salesperson and provide logistics support for staff.
 Write "Follow-Up Notes" to customers visiting the store and assist in writing "Thank You" notes to purchasing customers.

Productivity
 Accept, log, sort and distribute all mail and packages.
 Provide secretarial support. Handling filing, scanning, faxing and general correspondence.
 Update sample books and other marketing and sales materials.

Education
Qualified Applicants must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in a retail-type environment preferred. Qualified Applicants with a minimum of two years of college or equivalent experience, currently working towards a college degree, or a college degree preferred.

Knowledge
Knowledge of a customer service or retail work environment preferred. computer knowledge, intermediate marketing knowledge, and a broad knowledge of the work flow within retail work environment.
