Summary
The incumbent is directly responsible for identifying market, product portfolio and individual customer strategies and opportunities. The position requires a strategic thinking, self-starting individual who is able to interact with varying personal backgrounds, abilities and educational levels in both a business and social environment. The person must be willing to travel and develop new business relationships in the United States for low and medium voltage electric motor and generator applications for ELIN Motors(division of Voith Turbo) .
Key Responsibilities
- Market Development :
Identify and develop new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments for ELIN Motors products and services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Drive sales activities, from lead generation to closing deals, with a focus on high-margin products.
Work closely with product management, R&D, and operations with ELIN Motors - Weiz, Austria to align product offerings with market needs.
Provide leadership and mentorship to the local Voith Turbo Industry sales team, ensuring alignment with group strategies.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
Proven track record in medium voltage e lectric motor sales and / or business development in medium voltage electric industry
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify market opportunities and craft strategic plans.
Results-driven with a high level of initiative and the ability to work independently.
