What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aerial Imaging Pilot (AMEL) position at Volair Aviation?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as Pilot in Command (PIC) under Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 91 flight rules
- Responsible for the airworthiness and general upkeep of the aircraft and camera equipment
- Be Available to fly year-round and be on the road for a significant period of time
- Be able to be flexible with your potential time-off scheduling
REQUIREMENTS:
- Commercial Pilot with Instrument Rating (multi-engine rating and high-performance endorsement required)
- 500 hours PIC, 100 hours multi, 25 hours in a Piper Aztec (some of this will come during training)
- Those holding their MEI will be heavily considered
- Previous aerial survey experience a plus but not required
- No total time requirement but 50 flight hours or more in the past 6 months preferred
- First or Second class medical
