Volare Health is are seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee payroll processing for multiple Skilled-Nursing/Long-Term Care facilities throughout multiple states.
Summary:
This role is responsible for ensuring accurate payroll execution, tax compliance, system administration, and the implementation of payroll best practices. The Payroll Manager will lead the payroll team, maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, and manage payroll audits.
Location: Louisville, KY
Compensation Type: Salaried
Compensation: $95,000 - $100,000 (DOE)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the payroll team, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
Oversee payroll data entry, tax compliance, and system administration.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal wage and hour laws.
Manage payroll audits, tax reporting, and year-end W2 processing.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Provide training, development, and performance management for payroll staff.
Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure alignment on payroll processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
7 years of progressive payroll experience.
Experience with ADP HRIS system.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of state and federal payroll and tax regulations.
Proficiency in creating spreadsheets and databases.
Preferred:
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation.
