Volare Health, LLC is seeking an experienced VP of HR to Lead HR initiatives in Long-Term/Skilled Nursing facilities in Oregon!
Summary: The VP of Human Resources (VP HR) provides overall strategic Human Resources (HR) leadership and oversight of HR functions for the various long-term care facilities located in various states in conjunction wit the HRBPs and Regional Schedulers. The VP HR will collaborate with SVP of HR and its team for the implementation and execution of strategic HR initiatives. Responsibilities include the analysis of current HR trends including the ongoing assessment of future trends and opportunities; the development and execution of integrated HR programs; and the continuous evaluation of HR results to ensure operational effectiveness and associate/leader satisfaction. This role requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, problem-solving, and a focus on enhancing the overall experience for employees.
Compensation: $130K (Salaried, DOE - Negotiable)
Job Responsibilities:
- Develops and contributes to the achievement of established HR and scheduling department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies, procedures, quality standards and safety standards.
- In partnership with the HR Team and Scheduling Team, develops strategies and directs the implementation of a comprehensive integrated Human Resources strategic plan.
- Drives regionalization of HR across specific entities and functions, including the standardization and consistency of strategy, policy and processes.
- Ensures implementation of universal HR processes and practices.
- Ensures that all elements of the specific entities and functions' Human Resources program have measurable outcomes, and monitors results on a continual basis in order to make adjustments in the plans as needed.
- Maintains a strategic partnership with facility administrators and management across organization to ensure that HR programs and services support the strategic business plan.
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of union, labor, and employment laws for compliance and techniques for union avoidance.
- Provides strategic and consultative support, aligns HR strategies and drives execution of HR initiatives in support of the entity or function's goals. Ensures a positive experience for employees.
- Supervises and motivates Human Resources staff to ensure productivity is maximized, and specified goals and quality standards are met. Conducts performance reviews of each assigned Human Resources Business Partner.
- Will be required to travel to other facilities within various region as needed.
- May be required to attend and participate in collective bargaining and union contract negotiations. Includes providing support and education to support staff and business unit leaders.
Job Qualifications:
- Must reside in the state of Oregon
- Bachelors degree in business, HR or related field required. (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in HR required
- Strong verbal and written business skills
- Basic computer skills.
- High level of problem solving and strategic thinking.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to HR and business practices
