Volare Health LLC is looking for an Employee Engagement Specialist to join our team where we operate long-term care skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation centers across multiple states. At Volare Health LLC, we extend a warm welcome to our residents, their families, and our dedicated staff.
- Meet regularly with the Director of Engagement and other Engagement specialists to develop a collaborative partnership to ensure the elevation of the employee experience.
- Review feedback from the employees directly and through survey platform to monitor trends, look for areas of improvement, and ways to elevate and build the Volare culture.
- Ensure consistency in orientations, noting that all new hires have a welcoming and informative experience.
- Conduct regular campus visits and follow-ups to ensure they are done promptly and complete the provided checklist. Elevating issues that arise with the RDOs, Administrators, and HRBPs.
- Attend regular staff meetings at campuses to ensure they are effective, have consistency, and noting helpful insight regarding engagement and trends to improve morale.
- Becoming an employee advocate by engaging initiatives and efforts at each campus in your designated region.
- Review and drive all engagement and employee initiatives that are being followed at each campus including calendars, events, monthly parties (Big and Small party) on all shifts. Ensure facilities are participating in employee of the month, celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, and other special events.
- Ensure that all new Volare communications, development of programs, and new strategies, are actively being promoted within the facility and employees understand their usage.
- Conduct pulse checks on new hires to ensure they have all the tools to be successful in their roles.
- Monitor and be on the lookout for any retention barriers and provide feedback to the team.
- Coach and assist HRBPs with engagement trends, recruitment, and retention efforts.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and ensure they are put in place at each facility.
- Build and collaborate partnership between facility leaders and Support Center team
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- At least one year of experience in employee retention
- Experience in a face-paced environment
- Ability to travel 75% in the state of Oregon
- Ability to adapt and pivot to flexible schedule to meet party needs.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, and be able to follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish to job.
- Must maintain regular attendance
- Meet all health requirements, as required by law.
- Demonstrate basic computer knowledge, including email, with the ability to learn documentation software.
Work Environment:
The Employee Engagement Specialist (EES) will travel up to 75% of the time between campus locations in assigned regions in a professional long-term facility environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copier/scanner, and Microsoft programs.
