Position: Water Damage Technician (Level 2)

Location Code: 1186

Overview:
As a Water Damage Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our clients through mitigation efforts, helping them recover from water-related disasters. You will use specialized equipment to pump and extract water, perform mold remediation, and assist in building containment systems. This position is ideal for someone with a detail-oriented mindset, excellent teamwork skills, and a desire to grow within the property restoration field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow instructions from team leaders to perform mitigation tasks effectively.
  • Understand and adhere to MSDS protocols for chemical products used during mitigation.
  • Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections, maintain cleanliness, and ensure readiness for use.
  • Perform detailed water damage inspections using various tools, including scrapers, extractors, and meters.
  • Assist with building containment systems using appropriate calculations and equipment, such as HEPA vacuums and negative air machines.
  • Handle cleaning and disinfecting processes, as well as debris removal, with precision and care.
  • Use proper lifting techniques and protective equipment to safeguard client belongings.
  • Assist in the installation of advanced drying systems such as Directed-In system and an Octi-Dry system
  • Follow protocols for removing and labeling recoverable materials, installing air flow systems, and more.
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer service, ensuring a positive experience for clients during stressful situations.
  • Work within time constraints to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
  • Be available for occasional travel, night shifts, and weekend work as needed.
  • Report time worked and equipment usage accurately and promptly.
  • Attend required safety and operations training to stay updated on best practices.
