Key Responsibilities:
- Warm Welcome: Greet all guests with a genuine smile and a warm welcome, ensuring a positive first impression as they enter our restaurant.
- Seating Management: Efficiently manage seating rotations and maintain an organized waitlist to ensure smooth service flow and minimal wait times.
- Phone Etiquette: Field incoming phone calls with professionalism, assisting with reservations, takeout orders, and general inquiries.
- Table Readiness: Perform light bussing duties, including resetting tables to pristine condition, ensuring each table is ready to welcome the next guest.
- Cleanliness: Regularly monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the host stand, windows, and restrooms to uphold our high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Order Processing: Take to-go orders with accuracy and efficiency, entering them into the POS system, and processing payments (cash and credit).
- Customer Service: Handle guest requests and concerns with grace and professionalism, ensuring an outstanding dining experience for every guest.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a host/guest assistant role within a high-end restaurant environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling experience is a plus.
