We’re seeking an experienced AR/VR Quality Assurance Test Analyst to join our growing DYNAMIC team in Redmond/Bellevue, WA. As a key member of our team, you’ll be at the cutting edge of AR/VR technology, testing both innovative hardware and software. This is an onsite role, and you’ll be actively involved in hands-on testing, including wearing AR/VR headgear during testing phases. A passion for AR/VR and comfort with headgear devices is a must!
Hours:
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST (Mon-Fri)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Testing Efforts: Drive in-depth testing analysis and maintain evolving test suites for new hardware/software features, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and quality.
- Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Actively participate in planning meetings, identify testability risks, and contribute to feature development and testing for Horizon and other products.
- Test Planning & Execution: Develop, execute, and manage test cases for new features and releases. Produce detailed reports and manage the overall test process.
- Bug Management: Efficiently manage bug reports, ensure accurate root cause analysis, tracking issues, and validating fixes. Minimize disruptions for engineering teams by addressing duplicates and clarifying ambiguous bug reports.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in testing processes and propose best practice solutions. Share feedback with management and continually refine test strategies.
- Tools Utilization: Use popular bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Mantis) to report issues, track progress, and ensure the highest quality deliverables.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly in AR/VR, and provide insights to improve testing practices.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years in product testing with a strong emphasis on hardware testing, particularly in AR/VR environments.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in technology, computer science, or a related field.
- AR/VR Expertise: Proven experience in testing AR/VR technologies, with an understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of immersive environments.
- Comfort with AR/VR Headgear: Must be comfortable wearing AR/VR headsets for extended periods during testing.
- Tools Proficiency: Familiar with popular bug-tracking software (Jira, Bugzilla, Mantis, etc.).
- Location: Must be able to work onsite in Redmond/Bellevue, WA. No remote work available.
