The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for designing developing and implementing new ServiceNow applications and modules as well as configuring and customizing existing ones. This includes building custom workflows forms and user interfaces and integrating ServiceNow with other systems using APIs. The Developer will also automate workflows to streamline processes conduct thorough testing to ensure quality and provide ongoing technical support to endusers. Furthermore the role involves creating and maintaining technical documentation and collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.

Preferred Experience / Qualification / Knowledge Skills

Bachelors Degree in Information Systems Computer Science or related scientific or technical field and three (5) years minimum of relevant experience

Work Experience : 5 years of proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a strong understanding of the platforms architecture and capabilities. Industry Knowledge : Preferred to have experience in water and wastewater industry understanding of oracle utility applications. Project Experience : Demonstrated experience working on largescale projects in diverse team environments with a focus on ServiceNow development tools and techniques including scripting in JavaScript Jelly and AngularJS.

ITIL : Strong understanding of ITIL framework and best practices. Service Now Modules : Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM ITOM ITBM and CSM.

Integration Expertise : Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems using APIs web services and middleware technologies. Workflow and Automation : Ability to design and implement automated workflows to streamline processes. Cloud Technologies : Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and platforms (e.g. Azure) ServiceNow Platform Expertise : Handson experience with ServiceNow development tools and techniques. Communication & Collaboration : Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. ProblemSolving : Strong analytical skills and problemsolving abilities especially when working with large complex datasets.

Duties / Responsibilities

1. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ServiceNow solutions.

2. Design and develop custom applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform.

3. Configure and customize existing ServiceNow applications including Service Catalog Incident Management Change Management and Problem Management. 4. Develop and maintain workflows forms and user interfaces to improve user experience and efficiency.

5. Integrate ServiceNow with other business systems using APIs and web services.

6. Create and maintain scripts to automate tasks and processes within ServiceNow.

7. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into ServiceNow data.

8. Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow issues and incidents reported by users.

9. Provide technical support and guidance to ServiceNow users.

10.Collaborate with business analysts stakeholders and other IT team members to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.

11.Stay uptodate on the latest ServiceNow features releases and best practices.

12.Participate in ServiceNow training and certification programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

13.Adhere to ServiceNow development best practices and coding standards.

14.Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability of ServiceNow applications.

15.Contribute to the development and maintenance of ServiceNow documentation including design specifications user guides and training materials.

16.Participate in ServiceNow testing and quality assurance activities.

17.Assist in the deployment and migration of ServiceNow applications.

18.Monitor the performance and health of ServiceNow instances.

19.Implement security measures to protect ServiceNow data and applications.

20.Contribute to the continuous improvement of ServiceNow processes and workflows.

21.Research and evaluate new ServiceNow technologies and tools.

22.Provide recommendations for optimizing ServiceNow performance and scalability.

23.Participate in ServiceNow community forums and events.

24.Share knowledge and expertise with other ServiceNow developers.

25.Mentor junior ServiceNow developers and provide guidance on best practices.

26.Contribute to the creation of ServiceNow knowledge base articles and FAQs.

27.Assist in the development of ServiceNow training programs for endusers.

28.Support the implementation of ServiceNow governance and compliance policies.
