Job Description - Recruiter/Talent Coordinator
Responsible for managing all aspects of the recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening and hiring top talent across various roles within the organization, as well as successfully onboarding new hires through their initial employment period. Serves as the primary liaison for recruiting both managerial and nonmanagerial positions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Works closely with department heads across various departments to source, assess, and attract top-tier candidates to meet the staffing needs of the company.
Provides seamless recruitment and onboarding experience for both candidates and organization.
Develops and implements creative strategies to identify and engage top talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and recruitment events.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of recruitment techniques, sourcing tools, and best practices.
Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, including creating job descriptions, posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, coordinating assessments, and making job offers.
Makes a number of decisions regarding candidates including whether a candidate should advance to the next step in the hiring process in compliance with all applicable state and federal laws.
Coordinates with staffing agencies in the requisition of temporary workers for all positions.
Partner with department heads and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create tailored recruitment strategies to fill open positions.
Screens resumes and conducts initial phone/video interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit. Coordinates in-person interviews with hiring managers, conducts reference checks and pre-employment testing/processing.
Completes the onboarding process to include the first 90 days of employment, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and helping them integrate successfully into the company.
Processes all new hire onboarding paperwork and entry into ADP Workforce Now.
Tracks and follows up with employees and supervisors/managers at 30, 60, 90-day timeframes to ensure proper training has been received, any needs are addressed, and overall performance feedback has been documented and communicated.
Promotes the company’s employer brand through various channels to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates and ensure a positive candidate experience.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), tracks recruitment metrics, and prepares reports on hiring progress, time-to-fill, and other key metrics. Analyzes recruitment metrics and data which supports informed decision making for HR strategies and reports this information up to CHRO/HR-Business Partner and Leadership Team.
Ensure all recruitment activities comply with legal requirements and company policies, while staying current with industry trends and best practices.
Collaborates with Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Human Resources Business Partner (HR-Business Partner) to understand the organizations objectives and align HR strategies/recruitment accordingly.
Demonstrates effective communication, project management, problem-solving and leadership skills.
Versed in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in hiring practices.
Other duties as assigned by CHRO and/or HR Business Partner.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university (Human Resources or business-related degree preferred); or three to five years in-house recruitment experience for a variety of roles is required.
Communication Skills
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization. Demonstrates exceptional communication and people skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business procedures and policies. Read and interrupt human resources recruitment related laws and regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, memos, procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from candidates, managers, employees, business partners and the public. Ability to communicate in English.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate and percentage. Ability to apply concepts of pay rates, basic math, payroll, and accounting functions.
Project Management Skills
Strong skills in organizing, implementing, and leading recruitment projects to completion. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. As the person responsible for overseeing all aspects of recruitment, individual must adeptly exercise independent judgment and discretion.
Technology Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a high level of knowledge of ADP Workforce Now HRIS and Payroll system (or other payroll systems), HR Tracking Systems and other HR software tools. Advanced MS Office Products required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
PHR Certification and/or SHRM Certification preferred. Valid driver’s licenses.
Other Qualifications
Ability to use personal vehicle for attending recruitment events. Mileage reimbursement available.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and machines. The employee is occasionally exposed to dust particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. Touring candidates and meeting with employees in a manufacturing or production setting is required.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
