We are currently searching for a talented Entry Level / Junior Roadway Engineer to support our growing Mid Atlantic Region . This position will be based in Charleston, WV.
The successful candidate will assist a team of Engineers, Planners, Scientists, and other Professional and Support staff on a variety of projects including Roadway design and Engineering Studies.
What you’ll be doing :
- Collects and analyzes data for inclusion in Project Plans and reports
- Assists and prepares project plans using the latest CADD software including but not limited to Microstation, OpenRoads, and AutoCADD
- Contributes to the preparation and / or modification of engineering reports and calculations for a wide variety of projects
- Prepares and assists in the preparation of project construction quantities and cost estimates
- Prepare and assist in the preparation of project specifications
- Review project quantity estimates, details, and check calculations and drawings for compliance to project requirements
- Prepare and assist in the preparation of project schedules
- Performs other duties as assigned
