We are currently searching for an experienced Sr. Traffic Engineer/Project Manager to support ourEast GulfRegiongroup located in Chattanooga, Knoxville, Memphis, Nashville, TN.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform routine aspects of assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles
- Projects may include traffic operations analysis, traffic signal design, traffic signal timing development, corridor planning studies, transportation safety studies, roadway master planning, long range transportation planning, and transportation modeling (micro and macro)
- Assist the East Gulf Region Manager in project pursuits to develop new projects and manage the completion of existing projects in Tennessee and throughout the East Gulf Region
- Assist the East Gulf Region Manager maintain and/or develop relationships with new and existing clients
- Assist East Gulf Manager in development of junior engineering staff
- Prepare engineering studies, documents, and reports
- B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited engineering program
- 10 years of experience – Must be in traffic engineering and/or transportation planning with a history of winning new projects and a progressive growth in project responsibilities
- Tennessee PE License required
- PTOE, PTP, and/or RSP certifications are a plus
- Mastery with traffic engineering and transportation planning practices and procedures
- Mastery with Synchro, VISSIM, SIDRA, HCS, and Microstation
- Familiarity with CUBE Voyager and TransCAD is a plus
- Mastery with MS Office products
- Must be dependable with the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team to meet deadlines and provide high quality work
