We are currently searching for an experienced Transportation Engineer to support our West Central Region group located in St. Louis, MO or Collinsville, IL.
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000.
What you’ll be doing :
- Perform routine aspects of assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles
- Projects may include in whole, or in part, roadway, roundabout, multi-use trails, ADA pedestrian facilities, traffic signals, hydrology and hydraulics, retaining walls, enclosed drainage systems, small and large box culverts, traffic barrier systems, and other roadside development features
- Assist the Project Manager and Project Engineer in the development and design of projects
- Prepare engineering studies, documents, and reports
- Prepare engineering analysis to include : preliminary design, final design, and calculations
- Conduct surveys to gather field data
- Prepare drawings, layouts, and other visual aids using computer assisted design / drafting equipment and software to develop designs
- Review the development of designs for compliance with applicable codes, adopted engineering standards, and good engineering practices
