What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Customer Service Administrator position at Volks Resources?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Service is responsible for managing all aspects of parts, from receipt of PO through scheduling, shipping, and correct invoicing.
Customer Service will insure implementation and maintenance of filing systems for RFQ’s, SO’s and POD documentation.
Customer Service department retains all RFQ’s, SO;s, and POD records generated as a result of quotations, issues, and delivery of products.
The CS will communicate customer concerns to all departments with follow-up answers to each question being relayed to customers and departments.
The Customer Service will interface with all levels and departments as the customer requires on information pertaining to the customer's order. This includes researching and resolving customer issues.
Customer Service will conduct themselves in such a manner as to foster inter-company teamwork and communication.
Customer Service will be responsible to always answer the phone.
Performs other tasks as directed by the immediate supervisor or management.
Advises immediate supervisor on all problems encountered and not resolved.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to handle parts up to 35 pounds.
"May be asked to perform other tasks within reasonable exertion limits to assist other shop as required"
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
