Role Responsibilities
Main responsibility – 80% of time spent
- Manages compliance requirements for vendors as well as internal data.
- Leads gathering, refining, documenting, user acceptance testing, and coordination of Data Governance and Privacy (Legal/OGC) requirements
- Supports the data mapping of data elements to mandated categories per State laws
- Provide ad-hoc data analysis where needed.
- Subject matter expert of all data and can handle and speak to it in potential urgent situations
- Works closely with VWGoA AMS/Service/Product teams to integrate new data/new data usage into VWGoA’s privacy solution.
- Manages all requirements in JIRA/Confluence, obtaining signoff from Management in Compliance, Privacy (and where applicable IT).
- Documenting decisions, processes
- Monitoring operational activities and identifying risks
- Responsible for administration of Enterprise Consent Admin Portal.
- Leads all 40 communication templates/touch points with consumers related to state privacy rights.
- Define and document, auditable standards and policies
- Identify opportunities to guide business partners through Data Governance processes
- Facilitate and participate in Data Governance working groups
- Review, Suppress, Redact, and approve consumer Data Subject Requests on behalf of the business

Years of Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience in delivering technology solutions in the areas Data and IT management
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Master degree in Data Management or Science
- Cloud experience and certifications highly desirable
- Expert in working with multiple IT and business teams to gather requirements.
