What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Assistant Manager position at Volkswagen of Garden Grove?
MUST HAVE PARTS COUNTER EXPERIENCE AT THE DEALERSHIP LEVEL
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Back Counter Lead
* Quote service estimates in 15 minutes or less
* Communicate with Service correct ETAS on parts
* Meet & assist the customers in a courteous and professional manner providing them with the information they need
* Answer telephone calls promptly and provide professional service ensuring the customer's needs are met
* Ensure that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location
* Maintain the parts department in a clean & organized matter
* Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's values in all interactions with customers, co-workers & vendors
* Report inventory issues to management
* Ability to lift 50 lbs, if more ask for assistance
QUALIFICATIONS
* Volkswagen or Audi experience a big plus
* CDK, ETKA, OPStrax, XTIME, OE Collision Link and Parts on Command are used daily, so any and all knowledge are a plus
* Excellent customer service skills
* Attention to detail & memorization
* Professional appearance & work ethic
* Ability to work well in a process driven environment
Work shift will be Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays. When you work a Saturday, you will have a day off the prior week. Saturday hours are 8am to 4pm.
Depending on experience there are 3 shifts.
730am to 430pm
8am to 5pm
9am to 6pm
