Job Title: Parts Manager

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Parts Manager to oversee the parts department's operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of vehicle or machinery parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management:
• Oversee the ordering, receiving, and inventory control of parts.
• Maintain an organized and accurate inventory system.
• Conduct regular audits and implement inventory control procedures to minimize losses.
• Staff Supervision:
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of parts specialists.
• Provide guidance, support, and performance evaluations to team members.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Customer Service:
• Ensure that the parts department provides exceptional customer service.
• Handle escalated customer issues and resolve them promptly.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers.
• Sales and Marketing:
• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase parts sales.
• Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote parts and accessories.
• Budgeting and Reporting:
• Develop and manage the parts department budget.
• Prepare and analyze reports on sales, inventory, and financial performance.
• Implement cost-saving measures and maximize profitability.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Work closely with the service and sales departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Communicate with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
• Stay informed about industry trends and new products.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, automotive technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a parts manager or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle or machinery parts and inventory management.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification or training in automotive technology or a related field.
• Experience with specific brands or types of machinery.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
