Volkswagen of Schenectady is looking for an additional Service Advisor. Business is booming and we are looking for someone that can hit the ground running who offers world class customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them
- Suspend and transmit work orders to the appropriate technicians
- Provide estimates for services and repairs
- Schedule appointments and manage the service calendar
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of work
- Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicles
- Assist with vehicle check-in and check-out processes
- Recommend additional services or repairs based on vehicle inspections
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of automotive services and repairs, including oil changes, tire services, auto body repairs, shocks and struts, wheel alignments, diesel engine repairs, air brake systems, and brake repairs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills for entering and retrieving customer information
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
