- Keep track of available tables and seating arrangements.
- Notify guests when their table is ready.
3. Coordinating with Staff
- Communicate table status updates to servers and kitchen staff.
- Help balance the flow of guests to ensure smooth service.
- Assist in clearing and resetting tables when needed.
4. Answering Questions and Assisting Guests
- Provide information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
