VOLOFIT South End - General Manager
VOLOFIT South End in Charlotte, NC is looking for someone passionate about fitness to join their team. You will embrace our core culture that fitness should be always fresh, expertly crafted and perfectly balanced. Volofit is a novel, class-based fitness training studio. The group classes are focused on transformation to help you become a better version of yourself, every day. Each session is a HIIT functional fitness focused program, lasting 50 minutes, with a capacity of up to 24 people and is designed to allow anyone, regardless of their current abilities, to enjoy.
We are seeking a passionate, experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of the first Volofit Corporate studio – our flagship location. The GM will be responsible for all aspects of operating the Volofit studio, including running pre-sales, recruiting an amazing team and building a strong culture, training and managing all staff, customer management/membership sales, and management of all location financials. The GM of this studio will have the full support and resources of the Corporate Volofit team.
The Work:
- Report directly into the Corporate executive team on all elements of the business
- Develop a deep understanding of Volofit core values and selling points
- Create local marketing plans for generating leads and membership sales with the assistance of Head Coach
- Ensure franchise location is run in accordance with all franchisor standards
- Maintain a clean, functional, and safe studio environment
- Recruit, hire, and train studio staff
- Build a strong team culture
- Run regular team meetings and trainings for all staff
- Develop a daily schedule for classes and studio operation
- Manage and report on studio financials
- Create an exceptional community-focused culture
Qualifications:
Required:
- 2 years of experience managing 5 employees
- 3 years of sales experience
- 2 year managing and reporting comprehensive budgets, including payroll
- Excellent written/verbal communications skills
- Desire to build community and improve individual performance
- Organizational skill / proven attention to detail
- Proven leadership skills
- Strong computer skills
- CPR AED up to date Certification
Preferred:
- 2 years in management operations of a boutique fitness studio
- Pre-Sales and studio opening experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Sports Marketing
- MBO experience
