Volt is immediately hiring for a Facilities Maintenance Specialist in Youngsville, NC.
This is a Full Time Contract to Hire opportunity.
As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist you will :
- Work from documented checklists ensuring completion of all areas.
- Performs proper cleaning methods such as mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, wiping techniques.
- Move trash to internal and external dumpsters as required.
- Performs cleaning of manufacturing equipment and worktables in manufacturing areas and cleanrooms.
- Cleans restrooms and employee breakrooms multiple times a day.
- Washes and cleans first story windows and glass lobby doors.
- Responsible for the operation and maintenance of cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carper cleaners and power washer.
- Responsible for tracking and reporting the inventory levels of sanitary paper products, cleaning supplies and cleanroom gowning materials.
- Preparation / mixing of cleaning / sanitizing solutions to specifications.
- Power washes outside entrances and eating areas.
- Cleans carpets with steam cleaner equipment as required.
- Responds to emergency cleaning requests as necessary.
- Must possess the willingness to learn new concepts to fully understand aseptic technique and always demonstrate proper cleanroom behavior.
- Accurately documents solution prep and cleaning activities in logbooks according to Good Documentation Practices (GDP’s)
The ideal candidate will have :
