Volt is hiring multiple Quality Inspectors for immediate hire with a leading aerospace manufacturing company in Santa Ana.
As a Quality Inspector you will:
- Perform in process inspection; monitor and inspect aerospace parts and assemblies to ensure they meet specifications
- Conduct visual, dimensional and functional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc
- Inspect materials, components and sub-assemblies for conformance to technical drawings
- Document inspection results and non conformances
- Prepare inspection reports
- Work closely with production operators, supervisors and Engineers
- Ensure that inspection tools are calibrated
- Perform audits to ensure manufacturing processes comply with quality management system requirements
- Recommend and assist with implementing improvements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in quality control and inspection within the manufacturing industry
- Aerospace industry experience highly preferred, not required
- Experience with AS9100, NADCAP, FAA regulations preferred but not required
- Be able to pass a 7 year criminal background check and drug test
