Volt is hiring a Design Engineer for our client in Brimfield, Illinois. In this role you will aide in the development of specialized industrial equipment for steel, construction, and mining industries.
As a Design Engineer, you will :
- Prepare design 3D-CAD models, sketches, and detailed drawings of assemblies and sub-assemblie
- Participate in design reviews
- Manage design costs and manufacturability
- Provide timely, accurate engineering information within other business units
- Offer input for updating department standards and procedures
- Utilize existing designs, reference material, or standards to develop designs
- Complete appropriate confirming calculations to size components for fit and function
- Revise prior designs to bring them up to date with new guidelines and stand
This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.
The Ideal Candidate will have :
s between $75-$80000 per year.
