What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grinder Operator position at Volt Workforce Solutions?
Volt is immediately hiring for a Centerless Grinder in Gardena, California .
As a Grinder you will :
- Tools they should use : Comparators, Micrometers, Calipers. Process / skills for reference : Centerless Grinding, fastener grinding, precision grinding
- Buff wheel and hand tools to remove burrs on finished parts
- Must be cautious when handling parts
- Smooths edges and sides of manufactured parts
- Inspect and finish equipment parts to ensure they fit properly into the machinery according to the specifications.
This is a full-time Temp-to-Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have :

Schedule : Monday-Friday 2nd shift(2 : 30pm - 11pm) | 1st shift 6am-2 : 30pm (training)
Pay Rate : $ 18.00 to $24.00 DOE.
