Volt is immediately hiring multiple Injection Molding Machine Operators . In this role, you will primarily operate injection molding equipment used to make plastic plates used in medical laboratories. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts are available.
Injection Molding Operator Responsibilities :
- Following the jobs traveler / work order, operate injection molding machines used in the manufacturing process of plastic parts
- Perform setup, calibrations, and shut down of machines as required or needed.
- Perform various quality checks on the product during and after the manufacturing process. This consists of visual and hands on precision measurements.
- Ensure machine operations are running optimally by maintaining work and break schedules.
- Unload finished parts, stack and bag product for storage / shipping.
- Operate computer to load and run work instructions, track production, scrap, downtime, and machine adjustments that have been performed.
- Properly and promptly inform management of any issues, machine downtime, and mis manufactured product.
- Ensure all product not meeting specifications are segregated and properly marked
- Assist with other duties in other areas as needed.
